As we know fish is rich in source of vitamins, minerals and proteins. It has abundance of nutrients which are essential to maintain good health.



Fresh Cleaned Fish – 10 pieces

Ginger – a small piece

Garlic – 4 cloves

Shallots – 3 nos

Curry leaves – 3 sprigs

Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp

Red chilly powder – 1 tsp

Pepper powder – 1 tsp

Lemon juice – 1 tbsp

Onion (chopped) – 1 no

Green chilly – 2 (slit into half)

Coconut oil as required

Salt to taste

For Marinate:

Grind the ingredients (chopped shallots, ginger, garlic, curry leaves, turmeric powder, red chilly powder, pepper powder) add lime juice and enough salt into it and make a fine paste.


Clean the fish and cut into pieces. Marinate fish pieces with the prepared mixture and keep for 10 minutes. In a fry pan heat coconut oil and add the marinated fish pieces. Shallow fry on both the sides. Turn off the flame and transfer in to a bowl.

In the leftover oil fry curry leaves, green chilly and sliced onion. Just saute it and garnish with the same.
